Founder & Chairman

Nick’s passion is positively impacting the lives of those in need through services that promote independence and improve quality of life. He brings extensive management experience to the organisation through having previously owned and managed multiple businesses both locally and internationally (UK) for more than 19 years.

Nick champions sustainable business growth through good governance, capacity building, strategic networking and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. His expertise also includes people and cultural diversity.

As Founder and Chairman, Nick provides leadership, management oversight and business development insight to the organisation to support the achievement of strategic and operational business plans. He has endeavoured and continues to create a policy and process driven model to the organisation.  Nick works closely with abbaCare’s Executive Leadership team to deliver outcomes in line with the organisation’s code of conduct and core values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Integrity and Empathy. I Have worked in the disability sector for 12 years in the UK and 10 years in Australia. Have attended in excess of 200 NDIS Plan Meetings supporting participant receive reasonable and necessary NDIS funding. 

  • Highly experienced and person-centred Disability Services Professional with success in overseeing quality service delivery across a diverse geographical region and service types.
  • Engaging and accountable leader with excellent business acumen who has achieved financial growth, delivered diversity of services and who role models commitment to organisational purpose.
  • Passionate about advocating for people with disabilities, offers strong relationship and community capacity building which has allowed customers to lead the life they choose. 
  • Managed intake and supports and worked alongside occupational therapists, physio therapists and speech and language therapist in providing allied health supports for the individuals
  • Monitored and managed service budgets to ensure that the service operated within budgets and reported nett positive outcomes in line with organisations requirements

Bharvi Pujara

Chief Financial Officer

Bharvi has extensive experience leading finance functions and finance teams to deliver positive business outcomes across financial and operational performance. With previous experience as an auditor, educator, and business university lecturer she has developed broad ranging and multidisciplinary skills and experience across multiple industries. 

Bharvi holds master’s in professional accounting and business administration, bachelor’s degrees in science and education and is part way through her study to become a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).

Bharvi is well regarded for her ability to understand the balance between the importance of the work that we undertake and the commercial realities of the challenging environment in which we operate.

As Chief Financial Officer, Bharvi distributes the financial resources of the Company, is responsible for budget planning, and supports the Executive Directors team by offering insights and financial advice that will facilitate the best business decisions. Bharvi identifies and implements systems, polices, and processes which improve financial monitoring, accountability, and growth across the organisation.
