abbaCare is a Community Nursing & Complex Care registered NDIS provider and specialises in the provision of Therapy, Assessments and Specialist Behaviour Support to clients with complex needs.
abbaCare specialises in supporting participants with complex behavioural support needs, particularly those who have a history of relational trauma and disrupted attachment, such as children and families engaged with the child protection system.
Here at abbaCare, we take the time to make sure we can provide a well-researched and informed approach to supporting participant’s development, believing that a strong and safe therapeutic relationship with the participant and their supports, is critical to achieving positive outcomes.
We believe that establishing an understanding of our client’s emotional experience and underlying needs, is fundamental to planning meaningful interventions and developing effective behaviour support plans.
At abbaCare, We have a diverse team of experienced practitioners that include: social workers, consultant family therapists, psychologists, and specialist behaviour support practitioners.
All of our therapists are required to have a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting clients with complex behavioural needs and high-risk behaviours.
