Essie Mazorodze is the Co-Founder and Chairman of abbaCare, with over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare sector across Scotland, England, and Australia. A Registered Nurse by background, Essie has held a range of senior clinical and leadership roles, including Clinical Nurse, Clinical Nurse Consultant, and Nurse Management positions.

Her extensive international experience provides a strong foundation for strategic leadership, governance, and service excellence. Known for her compassionate, people-centred approach, Essie remains deeply committed to dignity, quality, and ethical care. As Chairman, she continues to guide abbaCare's vision, values, and long-term growth.

Nick’s passion is positively impacting the lives of those in need through services that promote independence and improve quality of life. He brings extensive management experience to the organisation through having previously owned and managed multiple businesses both locally and internationally (UK) for more than 19 years.

Nick champions sustainable business growth through good governance, capacity building, strategic networking and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. His expertise also includes people and cultural diversity.

As Founder and Chairman, Nick provides leadership, management oversight and business development insight to the organisation to support the achievement of strategic and operational business plans. He has endeavoured and continues to create a policy and process driven model to the organisation.  Nick works closely with abbaCare’s Executive Leadership team to deliver outcomes in line with the organisation’s code of conduct and core values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Integrity and Empathy.
